The Livestock Auctioneers Association Limited (LAA) exists to work on behalf of, support, and serve the LAA membership of livestock markets, auctioneers and associated auctioneering businesses by:

- Providing guidance and information to support best practise and compliance across the livestock market industry
- Investing in the future of our industry through training and development, empowering the next generation of auctioneers and market managers
- Providing livestock market sales prices to support industry benchmarking, research, and development
- Offering a network of professional support to strengthen the industry
- Further the interests of, and raise the profile of, the live auction ring as a method of sale and vital hub within the rural community
